EACH WEEK

Worship
We believe that the Bible is God's revelation to mankind and as such is very important. It tells us who we are, who God is, and what God expects of us as human beings. We therefore take the Bible seriously. We meet together to worship God and hear the Bible read and preached from twice on the Lord's Day, as well as singing from the book of Psalms. We also encourage each other to make the reading and study of God's Word a central part of our lives. Find out more about our Beliefs...

METs
Each week eight MET (Mutal Encouragement Time - Romans 1:12) groups meet to study God's Word. The formate is simple and has proved to be very effective in building both new converts and the body life of the congregation. We meet in small groups for an hour each week to discuss a pre-determined portion of the Bible. Find out more about the MET groups...

Theology METs
In the autumn of 2006, we commenced a MET devoted to the study of theology. Such was the demand, that within a few weeks we had two groups up and running. In 2007 we added a third group. These groups, each averaging 13, meet on Tuesday and Friday evenings and are working their way through Dr. James Boice's book, Foundations of the Christian Faith. Find out more about the Theology MET groups...

Prayer Meeting
Our weekly prayer meeting is held each Lord's Day morning prior to the worship service. On average 70 of us gather, all ages, to pray in groups. We focus specifically on giving thanks for who God is and what He is doing in our lives and praying for specific needs within the congregation and our families.

Bible Classes
Whilst we believe that it the primary responsibility of parents to 'train and nurture' their children in the ways of the Lord we count it a privilege to run four Bible Classes each Lord's Day morning. The focus of these classes is on giving everyone who attends a sound grounding in the Word of God. So in effect each Bible Class is a mini theology lesson geared to build children and adults alike in their knowledge of and love for God. Find out more about the Bible classes...

Housebound Visitation
Each week we visit the elderly members of the congregation who, because of frailty, are unable to attend worship. This is done by both older and younger members of the congregation on a rota basis. We do this because we love them and realise that one day we too will need to be cared for by the next generation of God's people.

The Covenant Kid's Club and CY
The Covenant Kid's Club and the Covenanter Youth are ministries to our covenant children and their friends. The Covenant Kid's Club is for our children ages 4-9 and meets from 6-7pm on Friday nights. The CY is for our young people ages 10 and up and meets from 8-10pm on Friday nights. For news and announcements about the youth work see our News page.

Mums & Tots
Mums & Tots is a weekly ministry with the purpose of building relationships with young mothers in the community. Meeting each Friday morning from 10.00 - 11.30am, it has been a real joy over the past few years to see God working through this ministry, to bring young mums to worship with us, who have then been converted, and subsequently come into membership of the church. (See Susan McBirney's testimony on our Testimonies page). For news and announcements about Mums and Tots see our News page.
