The Election of Elders took place on Lord’s Day 13th March 2016 after morning worship.
The man elected will meet with the Session in the two weeks that follow.
The congregation will be informed on Lord’s Day 27th March of the man who will be ordained as elder.
Nominations for Deacons will be received from members on the morning of Lord’s Day 3rd April 2016.
(Non-members cannot nominate.)
Men must receive two nominations to be nominated.
The congregation will be informed on the evening of the Lord’s Day of the man/men who has/have been nominated for the office of Deacon.
The Election of deacons will take place on Lord’s Day 10th April 2016 after morning worship.
Members only can vote.
Men must receive 75% of the votes cast to be elected.
Those man/men elected will meet with the Session in the week that follows.
The congregation will be informed on Lord’s Day 17th April of the man/men who will be Ordained as deacons.
The Ordination of the Elder and Deacons will take place on the 8th May 2016
To be ordained men for both offices men must accept the Reformed Presbyterian Basis of Faith and Practice as it is contained in the Constitution of the Reformed Presbyterian Church. They must also subscribe to the Westminster Confession of Faith.
